* Special Recording* November 12, 1971 – BK 6  Jerome 14 – This is the radio broadcast of Bishop Kelly’s first-ever post-season game, which was played at BK on a wet and muddy field.  The Knights had one of the best defensive units in school history and qualified for this playoff, which was considered the “A-2 State Championship” at the time, by taking second place in the Snake River Valley conference. The league champion Nyssa Bulldogs were not eligible to play in this game because this was a State of Idaho championship game, and the Bulldogs hailed from Oregon.
