Wil Overgaard (1984-1986)

One of Bishop Kelly’s most outstanding coaches was Wil Overgaard, who served as Head Coach for three seasons, from 1984 through 1986.  Overgaard compiled an overall record of 21 wins and 8 losses, took the Knights in the State Championship game in 1984.  Three of Overgaard’s former players, Bryan Mooney (Wyoming), Terry Heffner (Boise State) and Erik Helgesen (Boise State), went on to play complete football careers at the collegiate level.
