Kevan O’Hara (1981-1983)

Kevan O’Hara was the head coach at Bishop Kelly for three seasons, and led the Knights into the state playoffs two of those seasons. A former standout defensive end at Boise State, O’Hara was 9-2-0 in 1981, including a win over Lakeland in the state quarterfinal and a narrow one-point loss keeping his squad out of the State Championship game. He completed his three-year run as BK’s head man with a 19-11-0 mark.

Two of O’Hara’s players, Robert Rebholtz (Santa Clara) and Pat Shalz (Carroll College) went on to complete football careers at the collegiate level.
