SPRING BALL: BK Grads Prepare for Fall of 2010

Cody_Hawkins_ColoradoBishop Kelly alums are doing the work on various college campuses this spring in preparation for the coming fall season. Here is a quick rundown of who is where and how to read more about them.  Going through his final spring as a college quarterback is Cody Hawkins, now among the top passers in Colorado Buffalo history….Making waves in spring ball on the same Buffalo squad is Kyle Cefalo. Be sure to scroll down and read the section on Kyle’s 12-catch performance in the spring game…Boise State welcomes back DB Cedric Febis, who will be a key member in the secondary and on special teams again this fall…Spencer Gerke is ready for some playing time for the Broncos as well as a 300+ pound O-lineman…Stew Tracy is coming back strong from injury for the Idaho State Bengals.  He could be a threat at tailback…Cam Charles was a redshirt last year for the resurgent Idaho Vandals. He is a candidate for special teams and DB play for Idaho…Starting center/guard Brock Hyder is in the thick of spring ball at Montana State Northern and will get plenty of playing time for the Lights this fall..Danny Schaffeld is working out in preparation for his junior season at U of Montana-Western in Dillon…Cory Miller redshirted last fall at Colorado School of Mines and will be back in the fall…Tommy Steiner concluded his collegiate career at St. Mary’s College of California a few years ago and is now on the football staff at Stanford University.
