SPECIAL HONOR: Taylor Black Honored with Goitiandia Award
Senior Taylor Black has been selected as the recipient of the Iker Goitiandia Award, the only individual honor given by the coaches at the annual football team banquet. The event was held last week in the cafeteria.
The award was established in the name the former BK footballer who played from 1990-1993. He lost his life in an accident shortly after graduating from BK. The special recognition is given to the player that exemplifies the characteristics of hard work, loyalty to coaches and team mates, love of football, and unselfishness for the good of the team, according to Head Coach Jack Parker.
